My initial estimate was for 2 movers for 2 hours. I live in a less than 700 sq foot apartment and... all of my belongings were boxed and furniture wrapped. I simple needed a company to come in a move the furniture into the moving truck I already acquired. I live in an apartment complex where it is all indoor, air conditioned and a service elevator available for the movers so no stairs required. I received several quotes from many companies and they all estimated 2 movers needed for 2 hours given the inventory list I provided. I went ahead and paid the invoice for the 2 movers for 2 hours.In communication with Ben he advised movers would arrive on Friday at 4pm and I would hear from them 30min prior to arrival. I was advised at 3:30 that they would be late due to traffic and ETA was 4:30 and that is when his crew would arrive. I learned that he also sent 3 movers without consulting me prior that would be there but I only paid for 2 and that is all I had requested.The first mover arrived at 4:30, the second at 4:45 and the last arrived at 5. I have the phone records to show this. The first two movers had no equipment (hand truck, moving straps etc) to assist them and they advised the last to show up had all of this. I was also told when booking they would have all of this. At this point to help I offered my personal hand truck as we needed to get this completed. My hand truck has only been purchased the day prior and now has a completely flat tire.As the move progressed I realized the move would not be completed timely and became increasingly frustrated by the process. At one point one of the movers brought ONE small, less than 10lb box down. This felt as though he was just riding the clock out and not working to get the move completed.It came to be 8pm and I was upstairs waiting for them to load the last piece of furniture (my Peloton). As a waited I realized it was taking longer so when I went to check it had started raining so they paused moving since the ramp was slick which I understand. However, my Peloton was left in the direct area to be completely rained on and was soaked. All of this I have photos/video of.At this point they sent an updated invoice billing me for 4 hrs/3 movers. Not a single one of them had been there for 4 hours at this point in time. I was told this was taken into account and would be adjusted but it was not. They advised they would not leave the premise until I paid my balance. As a single woman I felt pressured because they knew where I lived at this point.Fast forward to the next morning and I found a piece of my furniture abandoned on a different floor! I lived on the 4th floor and found a piece of my bed frame on the 3rd floor. There is no reason any of the movers should have been there as I showed each of them the direct route from my apartment to the moving truck. I would have arrived in Florida and not been able to assemble my bed.Throughout the process two of them complained about having to walk back and forth from my apartment to the moving truck. I guess it was my understanding that this is what a moving company is hired to do. My previous movers moved my entire apartment in in less than 2 hours and loved the access to an elevator and very tall ceilings/hallways that could comfortably move my king size bed (the largest piece of furniture I own)When I approached him about being charged for an additional mover when that was not in my original invoice I was met with "well then it would have just taken longer" I believe that as a moving company if you thought this was need you would have quoted me that in the first place and the overall experience was the worst I have ever had. I have lived in an apartment (no elevator 4th floor), townhouse and plenty of other apartments and never had such a terrible experience with movers! I would highly advise you find ANY OTHER mover in the Charlotte area.I have tried calling, emailing and even texting to get someone to talk to about these issues and been completely ignored.read more

The company sent felons who some of my items and now want money to give them back. Police in... involved. Read on.I was moving a one-bedroom furniture (1 bed, 2 night stands, 1 sideboard), a dining room (table + chairs and a chest), a living room (loveseat + 3-seater sofa and coffee table + 2 end tables and 2 lamps), plus a stationary bike and a rowing machine.I had exchanged text messages with a gentleman (who says his name was “Nick”) who quoted me $510 for a 3-hour job. His crew was to arrive at my house at 9:00 am on Monday July 8. On July 7, another gentleman (“Babu”) called me to say they’d arrive at 10:00 am instead. They actually knocked on my door at 12:09 pm (more than 2 hours later) -my camera feed shows it. Anyway, they started loading the stuff; but with the truck less than half full, they said they’d stopped and take that load to the destination. I can be heard on the camera feed saying that the truck wasn’t even half-full and that it still wouldn’t be full if they load up the remaining stuff, with them till insisting on making 2 trips. They can also be heard saying that I will be deducted a 30-minute (because they’ll take a short break). Once they arrived at the destination on the 2nd trip, they demanded I pay upfront, before they removed my belongings from the truck and delivered them at the apartment. Their price had gone from the $510 that I was initially quoted to $2302, with the 2 trips. That would be 10 hours from beginning to finish, but minus the 30-minutes. So, I paid 9.5 hours, wiring immediately $2000 to their Zelle account and then rushing to a nearby ATM to get the balance. When I returned from the ATM, the lead gentleman asked me for the balance and then said he’d go out to make a phone call. I didn’t think much of it, because I still had close to 40 minutes for the finish time (per what I was asked to pay). But about 20 minutes later, when they hadn't yet come back, I went outside to see what was taking so long. They had left, without assembling the dining table or the bed. They left a full 35 minutes before the time I paid for. But the worst is that they took with them (actually STOLE) parts (the support legs) that were for my dining tabletop. That’s why they didn’t assemble them. I texted and called the gentleman who led the crew; he never responded. I called him, never answered his phone. Then a friend of mine suggested me to bait him and to offer money to get back the parts. The minute I sent that text talking about money, the guy called me within 15 minutes to ask me to wire the money before he gives me my dining table legs. These things are only valuable to me, as the table can't stand without these. He refused to give me back my tabletop legs supports. Meanwhile, the company wouldn't answer my calls or texts message. So I went to file a police report for the theft of my belongings. I didn't know any of their names, but just one first name "Christian". Luckily, when the police reviewed the camera footage, they told me the guys look familiar (as in "felons" with a rap sheet and a police record). These guys are not first-time scammers. They take something valuable (but that's only valuable to you) and they ransom it for you to pay for it. He was stupid enough to acknowledge he has them and to threaten (on sms) to throw them away. Anyway, now, the police has started a case and presented it to a judge. Unfortunately, judge went on leave for almost a month. She has to issue a warrant against that "Christian" guy when she's back. Judge is returning this Aug 16.Last thing for anyone considering hiring these guys: this company has NO offices, no address. The address that you find is something like a P.O. Box, they pay a rent to be able to use the address, but they are not physically there. So, you can't find them anywhere once they take off with your money or your belongings, or both. You are dealing with ghosts; they don't answer phones.read more

Even though move for less might be your cheapest option there is a reason, choose anyone else to... move your items. Movers use no padding on their metal dollies or on your items and do not know how to load truck properly. Movers showed up 2 hours late and immediately started complaining that they were over worked at the first job and it showed in their lack of professionalism. Once arrived at my new home they could not get the door open on the truck because everything in the truck fell. They broke my daughter's bed and dresser while scratching everything. Could not get the other dresser up the stairs and scratched my wooden stairs and drywall. Owner will tell you he has insurance which he does not or does not want to make a claim. They will then ask for payment before they remedy their damages, do not fall for this like I did. Tried to give David the Co Owner an opportunity to make it right and he never did. He will tell you he can only pay .60 per pound damaged but never will even pay that. He is full of excuses as you can see on all his negitive reviews. I hope Karen his wife sees this post and the type of business they are running under her name. My daughter and I are still waiting for your company to make your wrong right. I will upload pictures and video of the move and the unprofessionalism once David or Karen responds.read more

I would give this company 0 stars if I could. I am so disappointed in my experience with them. As... other reviews show, the company's manager, Dave, is unbelievably arrogant and lacks communication skills. Just look at how Dave gaslights paying customers who had their property damaged due to his movers or just had a bad unpleasant experience with this company.When I tried scheduling an appointment, the office assistant seemed to not know what she was doing as it relates to financing and pricing and constantly had to call in with Dave first. So I requested a call from Dave, which he did not make to me, causing me to request another. The second time I called, the office assistant seemed hesitant and honestly nervous about having to reach back out to Dave again.When I finally got a hold of Dave, he short-talked me and was very vague on specific details and tried rushing me off the phone. I needed to speak to him directly because I am moving from a 2 bedroom to a 1 bedroom that is in the same apartment complex. I tried explaining to Dave that I do not have a lot of things since I live alone and wanted to get a more accurate estimate of the move that his secretary could not provide me. Dave insisted that I needed to be booked and charged for 3-4 hours instead of the 2 hour minimum because, according to him, that is how long it usually takes. He then stated that if it takes less than that time, he will just Cash App or Zelle me the money back. I could understand that, so I went ahead and confirmed my appointment with them. However, when I looked at my booking time for my appointment, it says that I will only have 2 hours with the movers, so I called Dave once again to ask him about this. I also wanted to ask him how the process of prorating goes since he stated using Cash App or Zelle but would not have the needed information to do this. When I started asking him questions, he immediately became angry and said that he will cancel my appointment and hung up on me!I just do not understand Dave. How are you a leader of a business that is not upfront and deceitful when it comes to pricing information, but when a customer wants clarification, your communication skills are so poor to the point where you unable to control your emotions, get frustrated, hang up on them, and cancel their appointment? That is not how you run a business.Stay away from this company. I believe some of the reviews are fake. The manager sets his employees up for failure, has an inflated ego, and does not know how to communicate to potential customers. Karma will come back to him eventually for how poorly he treats others.Update: See his response? He is not telling the truth. They never moved me because he got mad and cancelled my appointment.read more

Read on.I was moving a one-bedroom furniture (1 bed, 2 night stands, 1 sideboard), a dining room (table + chairs and a chest), a living room (loveseat + 3-seater sofa and coffee table + 2 end tables and 2 lamps), plus a stationary bike and a rowing machine.I had exchanged text messages with a gentleman (who says his name was “Nick”) who quoted me $510 for a 3-hour job. His crew was to arrive at my house at 9:00 am on Monday July 8. On July 7, another gentleman (“Babu”) called me to say they’d arrive at 10:00 am instead. They actually knocked on my door at 12:09 pm (more than 2 hours later) -my camera feed shows it. Anyway, they started loading the stuff; but with the truck less than half full, they said they’d stopped and take that load to the destination. I can be heard on the camera feed saying that the truck wasn’t even half-full and that it still wouldn’t be full if they load up the remaining stuff, with them till insisting on making 2 trips. They can also be heard saying that I will be deducted a 30-minute (because they’ll take a short break). Once they arrived at the destination on the 2nd trip, they demanded I pay upfront, before they removed my belongings from the truck and delivered them at the apartment. Their price had gone from the $510 that I was initially quoted to $2302, with the 2 trips. That would be 10 hours from beginning to finish, but minus the 30-minutes. So, I paid 9.5 hours, wiring immediately $2000 to their Zelle account and then rushing to a nearby ATM to get the balance. When I returned from the ATM, the lead gentleman asked me for the balance and then said he’d go out to make a phone call. I didn’t think much of it, because I still had close to 40 minutes for the finish time (per what I was asked to pay). But about 20 minutes later, when they hadn't yet come back, I went outside to see what was taking so long. They had left, without assembling the dining table or the bed. They left a full 35 minutes before the time I paid for. But the worst is that they took with them (actually STOLE) parts (the support legs) that were for my dining tabletop. That’s why they didn’t assemble them. I texted and called the gentleman who led the crew; he never responded. I called him, never answered his phone. Then a friend of mine suggested me to bait him and to offer money to get back the parts. The minute I sent that text talking about money, the guy called me within 15 minutes to ask me to wire the money before he gives me my dining table legs. These things are only valuable to me, as the table can't stand without these. He refused to give me back my tabletop legs supports. Meanwhile, the company wouldn't answer my calls or texts message. So I went to file a police report for the theft of my belongings. I didn't know any of their names, but just one first name "Christian". Luckily, when the police reviewed the camera footage, they told me the guys look familiar (as in "felons" with a rap sheet and a police record). These guys are not first-time scammers. They take something valuable (but that's only valuable to you) and they ransom it for you to pay for it. He was stupid enough to acknowledge he has them and to threaten (on sms) to throw them away. Anyway, now, the police has started a case and presented it to a judge. Unfortunately, judge went on leave for almost a month. She has to issue a warrant against that "Christian" guy when she's back. Judge is returning this Aug 16.Last thing for anyone considering hiring these guys: this company has NO offices, no address. The address that you find is something like a P.O. Box, they pay a rent to be able to use the address, but they are not physically there. So, you can't find them anywhere once they take off with your money or your belongings, or both. You are dealing with ghosts; they don't answer phones.read more

Even though move for less might be your cheapest option there is a reason, choose anyone else to... move your items. Movers use no padding on their metal dollies or on your items and do not know how to load truck properly. Movers showed up 2 hours late and immediately started complaining that they were over worked at the first job and it showed in their lack of professionalism. Once arrived at my new home they could not get the door open on the truck because everything in the truck fell. They broke my daughter's bed and dresser while scratching everything. Could not get the other dresser up the stairs and scratched my wooden stairs and drywall. Owner will tell you he has insurance which he does not or does not want to make a claim. They will then ask for payment before they remedy their damages, do not fall for this like I did. Tried to give David the Co Owner an opportunity to make it right and he never did. He will tell you he can only pay .60 per pound damaged but never will even pay that. He is full of excuses as you can see on all his negitive reviews. I hope Karen his wife sees this post and the type of business they are running under her name. My daughter and I are still waiting for your company to make your wrong right. I would give this company 0 stars if I could. I am so disappointed in my experience with them. As... other reviews show, the company's manager, Dave, is unbelievably arrogant and lacks communication skills. Just look at how Dave gaslights paying customers who had their property damaged due to his movers or just had a bad unpleasant experience with this company.When I tried scheduling an appointment, the office assistant seemed to not know what she was doing as it relates to financing and pricing and constantly had to call in with Dave first. So I requested a call from Dave, which he did not make to me, causing me to request another. The second time I called, the office assistant seemed hesitant and honestly nervous about having to reach back out to Dave again.When I finally got a hold of Dave, he short-talked me and was very vague on specific details and tried rushing me off the phone. I needed to speak to him directly because I am moving from a 2 bedroom to a 1 bedroom that is in the same apartment complex. I tried explaining to Dave that I do not have a lot of things since I live alone and wanted to get a more accurate estimate of the move that his secretary could not provide me. Dave insisted that I needed to be booked and charged for 3-4 hours instead of the 2 hour minimum because, according to him, that is how long it usually takes. He then stated that if it takes less than that time, he will just Cash App or Zelle me the money back. I could understand that, so I went ahead and confirmed my appointment with them. However, when I looked at my booking time for my appointment, it says that I will only have 2 hours with the movers, so I called Dave once again to ask him about this. I also wanted to ask him how the process of prorating goes since he stated using Cash App or Zelle but would not have the needed information to do this. When I started asking him questions, he immediately became angry and said that he will cancel my appointment and hung up on me!I just do not understand Dave. How are you a leader of a business that is not upfront and deceitful when it comes to pricing information, but when a customer wants clarification, your communication skills are so poor to the point where you unable to control your emotions, get frustrated, hang up on them, and cancel their appointment? That is not how you run a business.Stay away from this company. I believe some of the reviews are fake. The manager sets his employees up for failure, has an inflated ego, and does not know how to communicate to potential customers. Karma will come back to him eventually for how poorly he treats others.Update: See his response? He is not telling the truth. My initial estimate was for 2 movers for 2 hours. I live in a less than 700 sq foot apartment and... all of my belongings were boxed and furniture wrapped. I simple needed a company to come in a move the furniture into the moving truck I already acquired. I live in an apartment complex where it is all indoor, air conditioned and a service elevator available for the movers so no stairs required. I received several quotes from many companies and they all estimated 2 movers needed for 2 hours given the inventory list I provided. I went ahead and paid the invoice for the 2 movers for 2 hours.In communication with Ben he advised movers would arrive on Friday at 4pm and I would hear from them 30min prior to arrival. I was advised at 3:30 that they would be late due to traffic and ETA was 4:30 and that is when his crew would arrive. I learned that he also sent 3 movers without consulting me prior that would be there but I only paid for 2 and that is all I had requested.The first mover arrived at 4:30, the second at 4:45 and the last arrived at 5. I have the phone records to show this. The first two movers had no equipment (hand truck, moving straps etc) to assist them and they advised the last to show up had all of this. I was also told when booking they would have all of this. At this point to help I offered my personal hand truck as we needed to get this completed. My hand truck has only been purchased the day prior and now has a completely flat tire.As the move progressed I realized the move would not be completed timely and became increasingly frustrated by the process. At one point one of the movers brought ONE small, less than 10lb box down. This felt as though he was just riding the clock out and not working to get the move completed.It came to be 8pm and I was upstairs waiting for them to load the last piece of furniture (my Peloton). As a waited I realized it was taking longer so when I went to check it had started raining so they paused moving since the ramp was slick which I understand. However, my Peloton was left in the direct area to be completely rained on and was soaked. All of this I have photos/video of.At this point they sent an updated invoice billing me for 4 hrs/3 movers. Not a single one of them had been there for 4 hours at this point in time. I was told this was taken into account and would be adjusted but it was not. They advised they would not leave the premise until I paid my balance. As a single woman I felt pressured because they knew where I lived at this point.Fast forward to the next morning and I found a piece of my furniture abandoned on a different floor! I lived on the 4th floor and found a piece of my bed frame on the 3rd floor. There is no reason any of the movers should have been there as I showed each of them the direct route from my apartment to the moving truck. I would have arrived in Florida and not been able to assemble my bed.Throughout the process two of them complained about having to walk back and forth from my apartment to the moving truck. I guess it was my understanding that this is what a moving company is hired to do. My previous movers moved my entire apartment in in less than 2 hours and loved the access to an elevator and very tall ceilings/hallways that could comfortably move my king size bed (the largest piece of furniture I own)When I approached him about being charged for an additional mover when that was not in my original invoice I was met with "well then it would have just taken longer" I believe that as a moving company if you thought this was need you would have quoted me that in the first place and the overall experience was the worst I have ever had. I have lived in an apartment (no elevator 4th floor), townhouse and plenty of other apartments and never had such a terrible experience with movers! I would highly advise you find ANY OTHER mover in the Charlotte area.I have tried calling, emailing and even texting to get someone to talk to about these issues and been completely ignored.read more
